respectfully request(s) that you remove an
obstruction to the natural surface watercourse or drain that exists on your
property and is adversely affecting the drainage of storm water from my/our
property. The obstruction consists of the following materials:

and removal of the obstruction will cause
more full and proper drainage of my/our property. If the obstruction is not
removed, or arrangements to remove the obstruction are not confirmed within ten
(10) days of the receipt of this letter, the undersigned property owner intends
to file a petition with the Vanderburgh County Drainage Board requesting an
order to remove the obstruction per IC

owner of the land on which the obstruction is located a request in writing to
remove the obstruction prior to filing a petition with the Board. A copy of the
letter from the Petitioner to the obstructing landowner must be submitted to
the Board when filing a Petition under this statute. (It is recommended, but
not required that the letter be sent by Certified Mail with Return Receipt.)}
